Audubon members spoke out for birds all across the country this year: supporting the Atlantic Ocean’s first Marine National Monument, demanding justice for birds in the Gulf Coast, defending the endangered Southwestern Willow Flycatcher, advocating for the protection of forage fish in the Pacific Ocean, to mention just a few of our action alerts. All told, Auduboners like you sent more than 626,000 letters and comments to decision-makers, supporting good conservation initiatives and fighting back against environmental threats. Thank you for your continued efforts on behalf of our birds and the places they need. We look forward to working with you in 2017! |

Bird Lovers Call for Strong Leadership at the EPA More than 14,000 Audubon supporters contacted their U.S. Senators to voice their concerns about the recent nomination of Oklahoma Attorney Scott Pruitt to lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Pruitt has been a vocal opponent of the Clean Power Plan, which would cut carbon pollution and help grow renewable energy across the United States. Advocates asked their senators to prioritize climate change solutions, clean air, clean water, and science-based policies. You can send a letter directly to your own senators at our Action Center. |
