An oil spill off our coast could have a severe impact on birds like Brown Pelicans.
Dear Audubon Advocate,

Favorite South Carolina birds, including the Brown Pelican, would be vulnerable to oil spills if offshore drilling is approved for our coast. Even without an oil spill, the numbers just don’t add up. Offshore drilling would cost South Carolina more in lost tourism revenue than any economic benefit it might provide.

Our elected officials, including Governor McMaster [and your U.S. Representative], have stood up to defend South Carolina against the economic loss and potential environmental damage that would result from offshore drilling.

It’s important to let them know that we appreciate their efforts. Please send a quick email to Governor McMaster [and your U.S. Representative] to thank him [them].
