Join Our Flock of Supporters!
The long-range weather forecast for Saturday, March 20, is calling for a gorgeous day along Rhodes Bayou at the Pascagoula River Audubon Center.

Picnic at PRAC is our annual spring “Birds of a Feather” Fundraiser that is also a “fun”raiser thanks to the support of sponsors Vines Realty: Aritt Davis, Bacot McCarty Foundation, Ward 6 Alderman Wayne Lennep, City of Moss Point, Scranton’s Restaurant and Catering and Dogan and Wilkinson, LLC.

You can show your support in many different ways depending on your time and taste. Choose how you want to enjoy the day!

As a Bird Hide picnic supporter, you reserve a private table for up to 6 people and are in a prime location to both visit with friends and enjoy live music from “Jen and Tonic” featuring Buck and Kristi Canfield and Jennifer Waltman.  These prime seats will be under the shade of the large oak trees near the Hummingbird Forest. This picnic includes a swag bag and may be reserved for $250.

For a more intimate and private experience, there are three spots available where your picnic party will have a private serenade by Don Smith. This spot comes with a complimentary bottle of wine, a swag bag and a driftwood centerpiece for a $500 reservation.

Enjoy your party in “Dixie’s Perch” for another experience and observe Swampgirl Glassblowing at work.  This location includes a swag bag and will also be close enough to hear live music.  These picnic spots may be reserved for $150.

If providing your own picnic blanket or chairs, a spot on the front lawn may be reserved for a party of 3 for $75.  This spot puts you front and center to enjoy the live sounds of “The Black Bandanas”
featuring Zack Kennedy.

And if visiting PRAC just to enjoy entertainment and nature, admission is free but donations are encouraged.  The fun begins at 9 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m.  This includes glassblowing, kayaking, children’s crafts, lawn games, native plant presale, auctions and raffles and a visit to the Moss Point Fine Art Gallery to view the work of “The Painter and Poet”. Outside food and drinks will not be allowed.  A cash bar will be open throughout the day in The Perch.

To make reservations and choose your menu, please go to our web site HERE. Space is limited, and reservations are due no later than March 17.
