More Than You Can Shake A Stick At
Did you know that hundreds of thousands of visitors are pouring into our region this month?  That’s correct, we are being invaded by a multitude of migratory birds, each traveling thousands of miles to make their summer residences here in our community.  But this is anything but a vacation…these warblers, tanagers, and vireos are getting down to the business of finding mates, building nests, raising families, and finding scores of insects to feed their hungry broods.  These colorful summer visitors will be with us but a short few weeks serenading us with birdsong and brightening our lives with their vibrant colors.  Spring migration is here…so enjoy our feathered friends from the south.
