New and Redesigned Education Programs at Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center
For this school year we're excited to announce a brand-new education program, Nature in your School. This exploration is designed to get your students out of the classroom and examining their campus as not only a place for people, but animals as well! We're also offering our redesigned STEAM-based Nature in your Neighborhood field trip at the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center and our in-classroom presentations, Urban Hummingbird Program and Downtown Owls. And introducing new programs for the whole family!  Read more

Osprey
New Mexico Needs to Fund its Strategic Water Reserve
Last week, Audubon Southwest, along with eleven other organizations, asked New Mexico’s Governor and the state legislature to include $15 million in funding for the Strategic Water Reserve in the budget for the next fiscal year, along with two additional employees to administer the program.
