As we continue to monitor Arizona’s stay-at-home policies amid the COVID-19 pandemic, our thoughts are with you and your families.

While we address the current situation and prepare for the future, we are also looking back to remind ourselves of what we have accomplished with your support. Our River Pathways high school program reached ten years in 2019, and before their fellowship ended this spring, Lauren Roberts and Lauren Welch analyzed a decade’s worth of data.

Their findings illustrate the power of both youth and nature–as well as youth in nature–and how looking at the past can give us hope for the future. Read the Laurens’ report here.

Where to Find Us

In order to protect the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers, and visitors, and to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we have cancelled all of our in-person events and programs—and the Rio Salado Audubon Center remains closed. We are still working, though, and encourage you to follow us on social media for opportunities to get engaged. From webinars to wildlife webcams, there’s plenty of Audubon to enjoy.

Audubon Arizona to Participate in Arizona Gives Day on April 7, 2020

Audubon Arizona is participating in Arizona Gives Day, an online fundraising initiative on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Arizona Gives Day brings Arizonans together to raise awareness and financial support for nonprofits statewide. All Arizona Gives Day donations to Audubon Arizona directly support a wide range of conservation work including bird science, habitat restoration, water policy, nature education and more.

To support Audubon Arizona, go to www.azgives.org/audubonaz. Early giving continues through April 7.

Since 2013, Arizona Gives Day has raised more than $17 million for Arizona nonprofits. Arizona Gives Day is hosted by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers and presented by FirstBank.
