Fall Planting Brings Spring Blooms
The grounds at the Pascagoula are overgrown with native plants as the staff prepares for the Second Annual Fall Native Plant Sale. While the Hummingbird Festival was canceled for this year, we have decided to move forward with the plant sale, both online and on-site.

Online sales are open NOW for your shopping convenience, and curbside pickup will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 24, 25 and 26. Click HERE to view the online shopping portal. Remember that supplies are limited, so don’t delay in making your purchases.

On-site shopping and sales will be available on Thursday evening, September 24, from 4-7 p.m. during Hummingbird Happy Hour and again from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, September 26.  While on site, social distancing measures have been put in place, and guests are welcome to walk the grounds and enjoy the Hummingbird forest while waiting to shop.

Curbside pickup will take place along the Center sidewalk on Arthur Street.  Staff and volunteers will be available to load orders.

Yard Sign:  The yard sign above may be purchased for $15 or is FREE with a purchase of $100 or more in native plants.

With or without festival, Hummingbirds are HERE!
The 2020 Hummingbird and Nature Festival was canceled due to COVID-19, but that has not stopped the Hummingbirds from buzzing around our Center.

With free admission for all, we encourage guests to enjoy the beauty of these tiny birds with a visit to PRAC during regular business hours, Wednesday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  We will also be open on Saturday, September 26, for guests to shop native plants and to enjoy the 10-acre site.

Merchandise: Hummingbird merchandise is available for purchase in the Hidden Heron Gift Shop.  We have t-shirts, stemless wine glasses, hummingbird feeders, and a special 2020 item, two different hummingbird masks. Local artists have also added special hummingbird items for purchase.

Happy Hour:  Because social distancing is possible, the second annual Hummingbird Happy Hour for our 21 and older guests will be on Thursday, September 24 from 4-7 p.m.  Peruse native plants, make purchases, enjoy the buzz of the Hummingbirds and visiting with friends in The Perch.  Back by popular demand is the live entertainment of “Jen and Tonic”. Light snacks along with beer and wine will be served.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online by clicking HERE! Look for the Hummingbird Happy Hour icon.
