Enchanted Trail / Sendero Encantado
Join us for a night of family fun at our 10th annual Enchanted Trail/Sendero Encantado, and get a rare glimpse of the Rio Salado by night while learning about Arizona's nocturnal wildlife!

Enchanted Trail is a free, bilingual, and educational family fall festival held over the two nights of October 25 and 26, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., at the Rio Salado Audubon Center. Este evento familiar gratuito para todas las edades se extiende por dos noches, el 25 y 26 de octubre

Audubon Arizona in the News
We Are Still Here is an experiential art exhibition premiering at the Rio Salado Audubon Center on Saturday, November 16.

The installation weaves stories of Huhugam history and continued connection to the river, recent human migration leading to the growth of the Salt and Gila River Valley, and the birds and wildlife who depend on these rivers, into a multi-disciplinary, experiential art event. The show will empower a community conversation about our complex history with these rivers, our water future, and one another. Expect soundscapes, sculptures, murals, film projections, bookmaking, and performances, created by artists from Medio Completo, the Huhugam Heritage Center, and the Gila River Indian Community. This event is generously funded by the Arizona Community Foundation. Learn more here.

Can’t wait to see the art? Visit the Rio Salado Audubon Center on October 17 for Birds n’ Beer to get a preview of the art exhibition, and learn about the project and process from the artists themselves!
