Farmers, ranchers, and foresters are vital in the fight against climate change.
Take Action
If we take action now, we can improve the chances for climate-threatened birds like Tree Swallows.
Dear Audubon Advocate,

Last week, the U.S. Senate overwhelmingly passed the Growing Climate Solutions Act by a vote of 92-8. This bipartisan legislation is a step forward in giving farmers, ranchers, and foresters the resources and know-how to support voluntary conservation on their lands, protecting bird habitat while fighting climate change. These practices preserve and restore habitat for birds and serve as natural solutions to reducing greenhouse gas pollution.

It is now up to the U.S. House of Representatives to pass the bill.

Audubon’s own science shows that two-thirds of North American bird species are at risk of extinction due to our warming planet. Birds are telling us there is no time to lose to take action on climate and conservation.

The Growing Climate Solutions Act (GCSA) will help to create a cleaner future for both people and wildlife. Everybody wins when we work together for our common survival.

Let your U.S. Representative know that you support bipartisan efforts to address climate change like the Growing Climate Solutions Act.
Sincerely,
Andrew Mills
