Gardening With Neighbors

If you've ever planted a bird-friendly garden, you know that it doesn't just benefit birds. There are usually unexpected rewards for people too. That was the case for Pam Marquez. When she organized her whole block to plant bird-friendly gardens, she not only planted exponentially more native plants, she found herself more connected to her neighbors than ever before. In our new article, she recounts that experience and shares tips for doing it yourself.

Plant a Solar Garden (Johnstown, CO)

In just a month, volunteers will help plant a massive bird-friendly garden at Griffiths Solar 1. Combining native plants with solar energy, it’s a new opportunity for you to help advance bird-friendly gardens. Birds and Brews (Salt Lake City, UT)
