Did you know? We’re open 365 days a year, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Start a new family tradition by enjoying nature as part of your holiday plans.

We’re excited to announce that from December 16 through April 30, the Blair Visitor Center and boardwalk will stay open until 5 p.m. The last admission will be at 3 p.m. As always, online reservations are recommended. Click here for online tickets.

The Cypress Café is now open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the end of April. Visitors will enjoy the aroma of freshly baked cookies while shopping or relaxing in the Center. Click here for the menu!

Make the Nature Store at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary your holiday gift destination! We have a wide range of nature-inspired merchandise, from unique ornaments to one-of-a-kind jewelry. The store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and stays open until 5:30 p.m. Dec. 16 through April 30. If you are not in the area this month, please visit our online store. Orders go out within two days with your custom holiday greeting.

Black Friday Story Time and Book Signing
Join us on Black Friday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for story time and a book signing with local author Anya Beltsina. Anya’s book, Smiley, Happy, Planet Earth, is an educational book that teaches children the basics about the solar system with a focus on our planet. It introduces fundamental facts about planet Earth, its seasons, and their differences, inspiring children to further explore the subject. Copies of Smiley, Happy, Planet Earth, as well as Anya’s other book, Water and a Tree, Busy as Can Be, are available for purchase at the Nature Store.

Story time is included with regular admission and takes place at noon.

FREE Guided Tours on Sundays, Included with Admission
Free guided boardwalk tours, included with regular admission, are now offered every Sunday from December through March at the following times: 10 a.m. | 10:30 a.m. | 11 a.m. | 11:30 a.m.

Tours last between 45 minutes to 1 hour and are led by Volunteer Boardwalk Naturalists. Space is limited – participants must be physically present to sign up for tours.

Corkscrew Member Lecture Series
Back by popular demand, our member lecture series continues the first Friday of each month beginning December 2023 through March 2024. These free, hourlong presentations are offered at 11 a.m. and cover a variety of conservation topics including landscaping for birds, new discoveries from trail cameras, and more!
