A Tribute to Ella Sorensen, Champion for Shorebirds
Late last year, Ella Sorenson retired from her position as manager of Audubon’s Gillmor Sanctuary at Great Salt Lake in Utah. Before that, she spent nearly three decades helping Audubon protect shorebirds and the habitat they depend on. We’re Hiring!
Audubon Rockies is currently seeking a range ecologist in Colorado! The range ecologist will work closely with local landowners to implement the Audubon Conservation Ranching (ACR) program. Primary responsibilities include engaging, cultivating, and enrolling landowners into the ACR program and assisting them with the implementation of innovative land management practices.
