Solving Migration Mysteries, One Motus Station at a Time
The first Motus station to be installed on an Audubon Certified Bird-Friendly ranch is now up and running in eastern Wyoming! Installed by Audubon Rockies and Bird Conservancy of the Rockies staff, the station tracks tagged birds to reveal insights into their migration routes. For Audubon’s Conservation Ranching program, Motus data complements on-the-ground habitat monitoring, helping show how bird-friendly grazing practices benefit migratory and resident species alike. The new station at Millikin Ranch has already logged its first visitor! Read more

Act Now: Protect Colorado’s Wetlands and Streams
Healthy wetlands and streams are vital to the well-being of birds and people. Colorado's new wetlands permitting program, Regulation 87, will determine how—and if—the state protects the wetlands and streams that birds, people, and local economies depend on. Right now, Coloradans have a chance to speak up. Sign the petition and tell the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission to adopt strong, science-based protections under Regulation 87.
