New Season of Upcoming Events
The Rio Salado Audubon Center is resuming fall hours on September 8, and with that comes an array of public events and programs. Two exciting signature events – Birds n’ Beer and Enchanted Trail – are right around the corner!

Birds n’ Beer launches its 2018-19 season on Thursday, September 20, with “Burrowing Owl Translocation: Lessons Learned”. Dejeanne Doublet from New Mexico State University will present findings from her research on our Downtown Owls project.

Check out the event on Facebook, and view the 2018-19 Season flyer

Enchanted Trail (Sendero Encantado), our annual bilingual fall festival, runs Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6, 5:30–8 p.m. The “nature by night” fall festival teaches children and adults about nature, science, and Arizona's nocturnal wildlife through a scavenger hunt and several other fun activities. Enchanted Trail is supported by Arizona Rock Products Association, Ballard Spahr, CopperPoint Insurance, GateWay Community College, Gila River Sand & Gravel, Merestone, Salt River Materials Group, and SRP.
